Smart Borrowing Workshops: Federal Direct Loan Literacy
In these workshops, we will walk you through the Direct Loan process and explain your rights and responsibilities as a borrower. Join us to lear how and when CCP pays Federal Direct Loans, how the refund process works and your responsibilities as a borrower. All first time Direct Loan borrowers must complete Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note before their loans can be processed. A Master Promissory Note is a legal document in which you promise to repay your loan(s) and any accrued interest fees to the Department of Education.
